Sometimes, you just know something could feel different
Maybe you’re overwhelmed. Maybe you feel stuck in the same patterns or disconnected from people you care about. Maybe you’re navigating a new job, a new baby, grief, fertility challenges, parenting, burnout or another major transition.
Or maybe nothing is necessarily “wrong.” You simply want to understand yourself better, feel more like yourself again or take a more intentional approach to your emotional well-being.
You don’t need a diagnosis, a breaking point or the perfect explanation for how you’re feeling before deciding that your mental health deserves attention.

Therapy and mindfulness, together.
Mental health IS health
We don’t wait until something is seriously wrong before we start taking care of our physical health. We exercise, go to checkups and pay attention to what helps us feel well.
Mental health deserves the same kind of attention.
Therapy can absolutely be a place to turn when you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, grief or a difficult season. It can also help you understand recurring patterns, strengthen relationships, prepare for change and care for your emotional health before life reaches a crisis point.
At With You Wellness, we believe therapy can simply be part of taking care of yourself.
Meeting you where you are
You don’t have to walk into therapy knowing exactly what to say. You don’t need to have everything figured out, and you don’t need to become a different person in order to feel better.
Therapy is a collaborative process. You bring your experiences, relationships, strengths and understanding of your own life. We bring clinical expertise, perspective and tools that can help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and decide how you want to move forward.
We’ll start where you are.

Therapy for real life
With You Wellness supports people through the challenges, relationships and transitions that are part of being human.
That may mean working through anxiety, depression, stress, grief or burnout. It may mean navigating motherhood, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum changes, career uncertainty or a changing family dynamic. It may mean strengthening communication in a relationship, supporting a child or adolescent, or simply trying to understand why certain patterns keep showing up.
Psychotherapy is the clinical foundation of our work. When appropriate, mindfulness and mind-body practices can be incorporated to help you become more aware of what you’re experiencing, regulate your response to stress and develop tools you can use outside of therapy.
The goal isn’t to force every person into the same approach.
It’s to understand what you need and build from there.
Understand Your Patterns
Feel More Grounded
Move Forward With Clarity
Therapy can help you notice what’s happening beneath the surface. Why certain situations affect you the way they do. Why you keep having the same argument. Why you react one way even when you wish you could respond differently. Why you feel overwhelmed, disconnected or stuck. Greater awareness can create room for something new. You may begin communicating differently. Recognizing patterns sooner. Setting boundaries with more confidence. Feeling calmer in situations that once felt consuming. Reconnecting with people who matter to you. Progress doesn’t have one look. Sometimes it simply feels like life getting a little lighter.

Clinical care that still feels human
With You Wellness is grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy, but therapy shouldn’t feel cold, rigid or overly clinical.
Depending on your needs, care may draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, DBT-informed skills, psychodynamic approaches and mindfulness-based practices.
The clinical foundation matters. So does the relationship.
You should feel comfortable asking questions, talking honestly, laughing occasionally and showing up without feeling like you need to present a perfectly organized version of yourself.
Therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who understands the clinical side of what you’re experiencing and also understands that you’re a person, not a diagnosis.
Meet Laura Donovan, LCSW
I created With You Wellness because I wanted therapy to feel both clinically strong and genuinely human.
My style is relational, conversational and personalized. I believe you’re the expert on your own life. My role is to help you better understand what’s happening, recognize patterns, develop useful tools and support you as you decide what moving forward looks like for you.
I also believe the relationship you have with your therapist matters. We may talk about difficult things, but therapy does not have to feel intimidating or heavy every minute you’re in the room.
That philosophy became the foundation for With You Wellness.
Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service, where she graduated with a 3.97 GPA and was a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society and The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Providence College with a concentration in Writing and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Her additional training includes mindful sport performance, yoga and mindfulness for student athletes, mindfulness in schools and yoga and mindfulness for children.
A smaller practice by design
With You Wellness is being built as a boutique practice because personal care matters.
As the practice grows, the goal is to create a thoughtful team of clinicians with complementary areas of expertise while preserving the warmth, communication and individual attention of a smaller practice.
You shouldn’t feel like another name moving through a system. You should feel known, supported and cared for.
Getting started should feel simple
It begins with a conversation. We’ll learn a little about what you’re looking for, answer questions about the practice and determine whether With You Wellness feels like the right fit. From there, you’ll complete your intake information and we’ll spend more time understanding what you’re experiencing, your background and what you’d like support with. Together, we’ll create a plan for ongoing care based on your needs and goals. That plan may change over time because therapy should be responsive to you, not built around a rigid timeline.
You don't need to have it all figured out before you begin
You don’t need the perfect words. You don’t need to know exactly what you need. And you don’t need to wait until things get worse. If you’ve been thinking about talking to someone, that’s a good place to start.
We'll meet you where you are.
